Dendarry Bakery is an experimental performance trio composed of Gladstone Deluxe, Mobéy Lola Irizarry, and Samira Mendoza. The trio combines Afro-Caribbean percussion, electronics, horns, strings, improvisatory Spanglish vocal performance, and childrens games to pose reflections on mother-tongues, queerness, transness, and liberation.
They have presented work with Carnegie Hill, the Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, JACK Arts, Universe City, and the New York Theatre Ballet.
